Jennifer Chheang

Vice President of Community Investment and Impact, The Colorado Health Foundation

Jennifer manages the team responsible for deploying The Colorado Health Foundation’s resources towards improving health in Colorado. Prior to this role, she was the Managing Director of Grantmaking Effectiveness at the California Endowment (TCE). Jennifer worked in a number of other roles during her 13 years at TCE, including leading a statewide policy and communications strategy to promote health and racial equity in schools.

Prior to joining TCE, Jennifer worked in the Planning and Development Department at First 5 LA, an organization addressing early childhood issues in Los Angeles County using tobacco tax revenue.  She has also worked as a grant writer and director of Program Development for the Cambodian Association of America. Her career has been dedicated to centering the voices and lived experiences of those at the margins of our communities and empowering them to make change.
