Medical Providers
Pamela Valenza, MD, MPH
Family Physician, Chief Health Officer

Dr. Valenza provides medical direction, supervision, and integration of medical, behavioral, and dental health services within the clinic using her expertise working in integrated, team-based medical settings. Dr. Valenza received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine where she received an Award for Excellence in Family Medicine, and she has since focused on serving Latinos, immigrants, Spanish speakers and medically underserved populations. Dr. Valenza completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Colorado/Denver Health, where she was appointed chief resident, and she is currently certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
In 2016, she received an award from the Pennsylvania Medical Society as one of the Top 40 Under 40 physicians in the state of Pennsylvania. In 2023, she was humbled to be named Family Physician of the Year by the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians. Her interests include women’s and children’s health including obstetrics, community health, and teaching. Dr. Valenza speaks Spanish and is an active member of the medical team at Tepeyac seeing prenatal patients, children, and adults.
Alison Quinn-Beitscher, FNP-BC, MSW, AAHIVS

Alison is a graduate of Boston College’s Graduate Schools of Nursing and Social Work. She has worked as a Board-Certified Family Health Nurse Practitioner since 2010 and is passionate about providing high quality medical and behavioral health care for all. Prior to 2025, Alison served as Medical Director at Tepeyac. She is also an HIV Specialist, credentialed by the American Academy of HIV Medicine, and provides primary and specialized care to people living with HIV. She currently serves on the Denver HIV Resource Planning Council, a Mayoral-Appointed Committee focused on providing access to high quality services in the community. Alison strives to provide empathic support to the clinic team.
Alison previously was the Assistant Medical Director of the Kennedy Community Health Center in Worcester, Massachusetts where she provided primary care and refugee resettlement services to a diverse patient population and supported clinic staff. In 2018, she received the Community Preceptor Award in Family Medicine at the University of Massachusetts and enjoyed developing an NP Residency Program affiliated with her health center. She continues to precept students at Tepeyac and enjoys mentoring and fostering the development of providers focused on community health and social justice.
William J Burman, MD
Physician, Public Health and Infectious Disease

Dr. Burman is the Director of Denver Public Health and a Professor of Medicine (Division of Infectious Diseases) at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He joined Denver Public Health as an infectious disease physician in 1995 and directed its HIV treatment and research activities. Since 2011, Dr. Burman has led Denver Public Health, focusing on assessing health and building broad-based partnerships to improve the health of Denver’s community. Dr. Burman was the interim chief executive officer at Denver Health for nine months, from 2016-17.
Dr. Burman chairs the executive committee of the Mile High Health Alliance, a nonprofit that coordinates activities of medical, behavioral and social service providers in Denver. He also helped found the Metro Denver Partnership for Health, a group led by public health agencies serving the seven-county Denver metropolitan region.
Patrick Huffer, MD
Family Physician, Addiction Medicine Specialist

Dr. Huffer obtained his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin Madison Family Medicine Residency Program, where he also served as Chief Resident and completed a fellowship in Faculty Development/Academic Medicine. He worked as a family medicine educator in Wisconsin and Michigan before joining Tepeyac.
Originally from Colorado, Dr. Huffer is committed to improving the lives of individuals and communities through team-based care. He believes in the importance of local, patient-centered approaches built on trust, empathy, and continuity. His medical interests include promoting health through nutrition and lifestyle changes, education, treatment of substance use disorders, and primary and prenatal/postnatal care. He is proficient in medical Spanish and board-certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine.
Emily Johnson, MD
Family Physician

Dr. Johnson (she/her) is a family physician who specializes in the care of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). She earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed residency at Tacoma Family Medicine in Tacoma, WA. Prior to joining Tepeyac, she worked in Colorado Springs, CO and Cincinnati, OH providing primary care for children and adults with IDD. She serves on the board of the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry and is a fellow of the American Board of Developmental Medicine.
She is originally from Colorado, has a brother and son with Down syndrome, and is well connected in the Colorado disability community. Dr. Johnson is committed to supporting patients in achieving their health and independence goals through patient-centered care.
Colomba Marcantonio, MD
Pediatrician

Dr. Marcantonio obtained her MD from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. After completing a fifth pathway year at New York Medical College, Dr. Marcantonio completed her pediatric training at the Long Island College Hospital/Beth Israel Medical Center combined program in New York City. She subsequently completed a chief residency in pediatrics and went on to practice general pediatrics in New York City seeing newborns in the nursery as well as a wide spectrum of children during well child visits, sick visits and chronic illnesses.
Dr. Marcantonio commits herself to providing high quality care to treating her patients as she would want her own children to be treated and strives to treat the whole child as opposed to just a specific illness or condition. Dr. Marcantonio is fluent in Spanish and Italian and is board certified in general pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics.
Gabriela Rodriguez Ortega, PA-C

Gabriela (she/her/ella) attended the Red Rocks Community College Physician Assistant Program where she graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. While in PA school, Gabriela led the Diversity and Inclusion Committee which served as a safe space to have open dialogue about implicit biases, racial inequities, and health disparities affecting our current health system. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Mission Award given to the student who best exemplifies RRCC PA Program’s mission to serve all communities with professional and empathetic care.
Gabriela is bilingual in English and Spanish. She strives to take care of others with a patient-centered approach. She hopes to equip patients with the knowledge necessary to participate in shared decision making regarding their own health. She is passionate about using preventative care, lifestyle changes, and nutrition to improve health outcomes.
Paulina Segovia, PA-C, RDN

Paulina is a graduate of the Red Rocks Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. In addition to being a PA-C, Paulina has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 2016 with experience in surgery and critical care nutrition. Paulina is passionate about serving her community, with a special interest in the Hispanic community as it forms a part of her own heritage. While fully bilingual, Spanish is her first cultural language.
In 2015, Paulina was awarded the Outstanding Senior award from Purdue University in Nutrition Science and in 2020 the Mission Award from Red Rocks Physician Assistant program. Most recently Paulina was recognized as a rising star in migrant health and was awarded the Kugel & Zuroweste Health Justice Award, which recognizes frontline clinicians making an impact at the intersections of health and vulnerability within the migrant population. In 2023 Paulina was awarded the Extraordinary Personal Action Award by the Red Cross.
Ambar Solis-Fuentes, PA-C

Ambar earned her Master of Health Science from the Drexel University Physician Assistant Program. She completed her undergraduate studies in biochemistry at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in 2021, where she was honored with the Leadership Excellence Award for her outstanding advocacy and leadership within the Latinx community at CWRU and in Cleveland, Ohio. Following graduation, she worked as a Patient Care Technician at the Cleveland Clinic, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in patient care.
During PA school, Ambar focused on working with diverse patient populations to enhance her ability to provide inclusive and compassionate care. She had the opportunity to serve the Navajo community, work at a solely Spanish-speaking OB/GYN clinic in Philadelphia, and care for children in Hartford public schools, many of whom were recent immigrants. Deeply committed to serving her community, Ambar has a special passion for working with Hispanic populations, a reflection of her own heritage as the daughter of two Mexican immigrants.
Daniel Wells-Prado, MD, AAHIVS

Dr. Wells-Prado was born and raised in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School. During medical school, he completed a 9-month longitudinal curriculum in rural medicine, focusing on full-spectrum family medicine. Afterwards, he completed his family medicine residency at the University of Colorado Family Medicine Residency – Denver Health Track. He completed specialized training during residency to become an HIV specialist, credentialed by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
Dr. Wells-Prado has always felt at home working in community health centers and enjoys building relationships with patients throughout their lifespan. His areas of interest include chronic disease management, pediatrics, infectious diseases including HIV and hepatitis C, addiction medicine, care for the LGBTQIA+ community, prenatal/postpartum care, and gender-affirming hormone therapy. He speaks Spanish and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Enas Al Sharea, DDS

Dr. Enas earned her first dental degree in her native country of Iraq and went on to complete a residency in Orthodontics. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado/School of Dental Medicine after relocating to the US, demonstrating her persistence and dedication to the field.
Over the years, Dr. Enas has held multiple roles in healthcare, including Health Navigator, Coordinator, Interpreter, and Dental Assistant, experiences that have given her a deep understanding of the healthcare system and the real-life challenges patients face.
Dr. Enas has a special interest in caring for seniors, focusing on restoring smiles and helping patients regain self-esteem and confidence after losing some or all of their teeth. She finds it deeply rewarding to guide patients on their journey to reintegrate fully into life with renewed confidence and comfort.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Enas enjoys exploring new interests, from Interior Design to self-development reading, sewing, and occasional DIY projects.
Dr. Enas’s mission is to provide high-quality, empathetic dental care both in Arabic and English that not only restores oral health but also transforms lives.
Sandya Athigaman, DDS

Dr. A earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry and Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She understands that visiting the dentist can be daunting, so she prioritizes creating a welcoming environment that supports her patients' comfort, confidence, and overall well-being - aiming to make every visit as stress-free as possible. Dr. A is excited to get to know her patients and contribute meaningfully to the area she now calls home.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. A volunteers with the Community Resource Center and serves on the Mile High Young Professionals' Philanthropy Committee, supporting local nonprofits and building connections across the Denver Metro area. In her free time, she enjoys life with her partner, their cat, and their dog, and loves drawing, playing music, gardening, and performing with a local Bollywood dance group.
Cecilia Esqueda, RDH

Cecilia Esqueda is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Community College of Denver from the Dental Hygiene program in 2016. Cecilia is fluent in Spanish and English and has worked for more than 12 years in non-profit organizations. Het top priority is to help each patient achieve optimal oral health. Cecilia is very passionate about her job and loves seeing patients and building a rapport with them. She is very compassionate with patients and team members.

Crystal Williams is excited to join the Tepeyac team as a Dental Hygienist. She has been in the field for over 10 years and has held several leadership roles, though her greatest passion remains in providing direct patient care.
She also has a strong interest in public health and earned her Master of Public Health to help support and improve the health of our communities. Outside of work, she enjoys warm weather, good food, a great laugh—and she considers naps a gift.

Rosa (she/they) has worked in a variety of healthcare settings for almost 10 years. Their goal is to foster a radical, person-centered, and creative environment in behavioral health. They have a dual Master's degree in Social Work and Public Administration from the University of Nebraska—Omaha.
Rosa always aims to practice curiosity when it comes to organization and interpersonal systems that interact with clients and their behavioral health. Some of their hobbies and interests include astrology, queer media, painting, and reading poetry with their wife and cat.

Julie (she/her/ella), was born and raised in El Paso, TX, completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at The University of Texas at El Paso.
Coming from a predominantly Latinx city, Julie is excited to serve the Latinx community in the Denver area through compassionate and nonjudgmental care. Julie’s experience as a psychologist assistant developed her passion to help people manage and improve their mental health both in their everyday experiences as well as those facing severe hardships.

Diana is a couples and family therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families heal through connection. Drawing from both professional experience and personal growth, she has witnessed the transformative power of relationships and how rarely people are taught, to build and sustain them. She supports clients in breaking unhelpful patterns and building more fulfilling relationships.
As a child of immigrants, she is especially attuned to the experiences of first-generation families and is committed to culturally responsive, affirming, and collaborative care.
She earned a Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy from Purdue Northwest University. Originally from Chicago, she relocated to Denver for the mountains and outdoor lifestyle.

Celina Jara Tovar (she/her/ella) was born and raised in Colorado, completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Studio Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder and her Master's degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
As a bilingual therapist, Celina strives to create an inclusive, supportive space where clients can feel truly seen and heard, honoring each person's unique experience and fostering a collaborative, empathetic, and supportive therapeutic relationship. Celina is also a trained Provisionally Registered Art Therapist, and encourages her client's to incorporate creative expression as a powerful tool for healing, insight, and communication—especially for those who may find it challenging to express themselves through words alone.

Letty Torres, SWC (she/they, ella/elle), was born and raised in Colorado. They are a Latinx, bilingual, first-generation American therapist who creates a safe and supportive environment for their clients. With a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work from Metropolitan State University of Denver, they bring a strong educational foundation to her practice.
Letty specializes in working with individuals, families, and children and adolescents who identify across a spectrum of LGBTQ and gender identities, neurodivergence, and have experienced attachment issues or trauma. They have also trained in Ego States Therapy with EMDR and Synergetic Play Therapy, enabling them to guide individuals through the healing process, reprocess distressing memories, and reduce the emotional impact of past traumas.

Neylin Muneton is a Colorado native with Latin roots. She gained her undergraduate degree at Colorado State University in Fort Collins and is now working towards her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Regis University. She has always been passionate about helping diverse populations.
Her main goal is to help bridge gaps between mental health awareness and underserved communities. As an active member of her community she engages in outreach with families, adolescents and young adults and aims to continue to do so while providing opportunities to promote mental health. You can find her enjoying her time outdoors or eating some sour patch gummies.

Arkadiy is an alumnus of the University of Denver with a Bachelor’s degree in biology and Midwestern University with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. In addition he has also completed a post graduate certification as a Pharmacy Regulatory Specialist. He has been in pharmacy for over 20 years as a pharmacy technician, intern pharmacist, inpatient and outpatient pharmacist and pharmacy manager during that time passionate about leading teams with the goal of providing high quality care to all patients. When not working, he spends most of his time with his family and enjoying the great outdoors throughout Colorado.
