Medical Assistant Supervisor


To ensure quality care to the Tepeyac Community Health Center patient population, the Medical Assistant Supervisor provides direct supervision and day-to-day operational oversight of Medical Assistants assigned to a clinical pod. This role supports efficient clinical flow, staff performance, and consistent execution of clinical workflows as communicated by the Practice Manager and in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The Medical Assistant Supervisor serves as the first-line leader and primary point of contact for Medical Assistants, providers, and clinical staff regarding daily workflow coordination, troubleshooting, and staff support.

Part- Time Pharmacist


The pharmacist is responsible for ensuring proper preparation, review, verification, and dispensation of prescribed medication. The pharmacist provides positive customer service experience in accordance with the organization’s mission. The pharmacist will support efficient workflows in receiving and dispensing medications and inventory. The pharmacist will oversee and direct the pharmacy technician staff and provide education to patients to enhance customer experience.

Registered Nurse (Bilingual)

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for organizing, assessing, coordinating, and providing triage/care coordination services to Tepeyac patients in close coordination with care teams. This position works within a progressive, team-based care model to manage patient care. The RN utilizes analytical skills to provide direct patient care along with telephonic patient care coordination and transitional care management. This clinic position facilitates patient care throughout the entire patient visit as well as manages patient flow on the care team while contributing to continuity of care to help improve patient and quality-improvement outcomes.

Dental Assistant (Bilingual)


 Tepeyac understands that treatment of the whole person includes medical, behavioral health and dental care. All three are needed to achieve the utmost quality care and coordination for patients. Dental decay is the number one chronic disease in children that is 100% preventable —5 times more common than asthma, 4 times more common than early- childhood obesity, and 20 times more common than diabetes. Decay can affect speech and communication, eating and dietary nutrition, sleeping, learning, playing and quality of life, missed school and/or work for patients of all ages.

Major Gifts Officer


The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors capable of making significant financial contributions to support Tepeyac Community Health Center. This role manages a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors and works closely with the Director of Development and Communications, and the development team to grow philanthropic revenue.  This is a relationship-centered position ideal for a self-motivated fundraiser who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building authentic donor partnerships.

Volunteers support our mission by assisting with community outreach, event participation, and essential office or program tasks. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, engaging with the community, and contributing to meaningful work that strengthens our organization.  Many of our volunteer positions require bilingual skills (Spanish and English).

Case Manager (Bilingual)


The focus of this position is to ensure the efficient delivery of quality case management services in English and Spanish to meet the needs of Tepeyac patients. If a language other than English or Spanish is preferred by the patient, Case Managers refer to the use of the Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Language line for assistance. CMs provide services focused on patients with chronic health condition (i.e. diabetes, HIV), a behavioral health challenge, substance use concern, pediatric/OB patients, etc. The most common case management tasks are connecting patients with valuable community resources, assistance with medication adherence and monitoring, transportation coordination, food assistance, referral to legal services, etc.

Grant Writer


Grant Writer will conduct prospect research, create and assemble all aspect of grant requests; represent health center at internal and external grant presentations; and maintain a calendar of submissions and other deadlines. Position is also responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on the performance of program activities funded by the grant by working with Grant Accountants to prepare timely and accurate reports for all existing grant funded projects. Grant Writer will help department stay compliant with regulators by keeping departmental policies and procedures relevant and current. This position will work closely with the Grants Manager.
